I have to go to Walmart again, so here's my life in 30 seconds or less.
Been working on the San Antonio retreat like a maniac during crazy car rides across Houston in between everything else we have to do.
Patty comes Thursday.
Leaving for Dallas on Friday for GET TOGETHER WEEKEND WITH MY FAVORITE DALLAS TEAM!! I LOVE them.
Then, off to San Antonio from Dallas for the Rolling Hills School Retreats (2 of them, back to back)
Houston is still hot and apparently will be for a good 3 more months.
I'm finally getting to know the girls at Northwoods, which is GREAT. Now I can actually work with them.
Father (once Brother) Thomas Salazar is our chaplain. Small world.
Father Emilio came yesterday and amazed me with his memory... he asked about our whole family and a bunch of people at Pinecrest after Mass. I got confession with him too, which as anyone who's ever met Fr. Emilio would know, is the BEST.
Now I need to go buy ingredients for Mama Betty's Easy Bean Soup, which I'm making for dinner!

ReplyDeleteI just got home from work after just getting home from my funeral visit (funerals for 80something year olds who have strong faith are generally fun occasions) and can't wait to see you homecoming. For #1 information you requested.....GA plays FL at 3:30pm on October 31st approximately 17 hours after PA crushes HS.
